The
mission of the Cedarburg
Community Scholarship Fund is to raise and distribute
scholarship money to graduating high school seniors who reside within the Cedarburg
School
District - whether or not they attend Cedarburg High School.
These funds support their further
education at colleges,
universities, and vocational or technical schools. For many students, this is
the first
time they receive public
recognition for their personal efforts both at
school and in the community.
Since its inception in 1973, CCSF has awarded over
$1,800,000 in scholarships to more than 2300 students who have demonstrated
academic excellence, community service, and extra-curricular achievement.
2008 Scholarships $127,850 to 104 graduating seniors
from 5 high schools
Two Ways To Contribute
You can make a direct contribution to one or more of our annual fund-raising activities. Events are publicized throughout the year. We are grateful to our parents, alumni, businesses, and friends for their continuing support.
Since 1988, CCSF has managed an endowment program that provides individuals and organizations an opportunity for perpetual scholarships with their donation of $5,000 or more. This guarantees an annual scholarship in honor or remembrance of the individual or organization of your choice.
CCSF is a non-profit corporation under IRS 501(c)(3) and all contributions are fully tax deductible.
Awarding Scholarships
Student applicants must reside within the Cedarburg School District, but may attend any high school. Applications are submitted in February each year.
Scholarship selection is based on many factors but weighted toward academic achievement, community service, extra-curricular activities, and personal goals.
Scholarships are presented in late May
at our Awards Night. Funds are distributed after the student's successful completion of their first semester of study, and confirmation of second semester registration.
